Dating Intelligent Women and Intellectual Conversations [New Mailbag Sessions Video]

This video is going to be about my personal experience and insights on dating intelligent women and my many, many insights on connecting with women on an intellectual level. This was a total trip down memory lane for me and I enjoyed answering this question thoroughly.

Our mailbag operation was so successful. We had many guys send us really legit (not weird) questions and I am so excited to answer all of them!  On the first mailbag sessions video I answer a question sent by our viewer in Texas who asks the following question:

“Whenever i list the qualities i find most important in a girl i find intelligence high on my list, and the ability to hold an intellectual conversation as prerequisite for a relationship. However in the real world i find that i choose looks over intelligence consistently, and often i will seduce intelligent girls in order to just be their friend. Conversely, i feel like i have a strong intelligence, but cant think of a time when my brains alone have attracted a girl to me. So i guess my question is, is there a way to reconcile my needs for sexy women with my needs for intelligent women?”

Enjoy guys the video is 15 minutes of pure awesomeness.

I totally agree. I used to think finding a really smart girl was important. But I realized that I was heavily influenced by my parents and friends, and I was too insecure to believe I good get a really hot, fashionable woman. I’m not saying I want a dumb girl but now I have the confidence to go for women I am physically attracted to.

I think sometimes guys that consider themselves to be “intelligent” further isolate themselves by this self-made reality. When someone “requires” an intelligent or intellectual conversation my guess is that nine times out of ten that person finds others not to be as intelligent as he is. That insecurity you just mentioned is what prevents him to reconcile his wants and so he has to settle in saying that the intelligent convos come first.

If you ask me, women don’t have to be geniuses; they just have to be able to carry a decent conversation. When a lady shares her thoughts, I would want to see that she has given it some thought, not expect her to know the names of planet Jupiter’s moons by heart. I think the word to describe it is “sensible”. Just to give you a better idea, do you remember why beauty pageants have question and answer portions?

Let’s leave it to Troy to clarify if being sensible is part of what he would describe as “street-smart”.

I guess this means that we can still go for hot girls, as long as they are sensible.

You’re absolutely right and Sensible is just the perfect word to describe one of the prerequisites!

Nice one bro. You actually brought up something I’ve been wanting to hear, the whole idea of multiple intelligence. I’ve been holding that philosophy for years now.

Nobody’s stupid, people are just intelligent in different aspects of their lives. Musically, Physically, Maths, Sciences, Humanities, there are just so many levels to intelligence, and in that sense finding an intelligent girl is all about finding out which kind of intelligence you find attractive, which you learn through dating other people.

Another home run out of the ball park!
